WARREN, Ark. – The Warren Lady Jack Basketball program made an exciting announcement on Tuesday morning with the introduction of Lauren Bainter as their new Assistant Girls Basketball Coach. This addition marks a significant step forward for Head Coach Mary Beth Grant’s coaching staff as they gear up for the upcoming season.
An alumni of Bauxite High School, Bainter is a graduate of the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.
Coach Mary Beth Grant, formerly with the Watson Chapel School District, is poised to lead the Lady Jacks into a new era of competitiveness and growth on the court.
The Lady Jacks have been diligently preparing for the upcoming season, diving into a series of intense workouts that commenced on June 3. These workouts took place on the Warren School District campus, setting the tone for a summer of hard work and camaraderie.
As part of their summer regimen, the Lady Jacks participated in team camps at prestigious venues such as Pulaski Academy and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB). These camps not only provided valuable training opportunities but also fostered team cohesion and strategic development.
Currently, the Lady Jacks are in a brief hiatus known as the dead period, which spans from June 23 to July 6. This period allows players and coaches to recharge and refocus before diving back into their training regimen with renewed energy and determination.
