HERMITAGE, Ark. – An exciting announcement was made Monday by the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) regarding updates to the Official AAA Record Book following the 2023-2024 Arkansas high school sports season. Among the numerous updates, one achievement stands out, bringing pride to the Hermitage community.
Hermitage High School’s standout basketball player, Carter Wilkerson, now sits second all-time in state history for blocks per game in a basketball season, averaging an impressive 5.7 blocks per game. This remarkable feat has not only earned Carter a place in the state record book but also brought significant recognition to Hermitage’s athletic program.
Carter’s dedication, hard work, and consistent performance throughout the season have culminated in this outstanding achievement.
