SEARCY, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjacks finished third overall at the recent 2024 Sonic Air Raid 7-on-7 tournament held at Harding University. This strong performance sets a promising tone for the upcoming 2024 Lumberjack Football season.
The Lumberjacks commenced their campaign with a victory over Little Rock Christian in round one. They continued their winning streak by defeating Harrison in round two.
However, the Jacks faced a formidable opponent in Conway during the semi-finals, where they fell short. Undeterred, the Lumberjacks rallied in the loser’s bracket and triumphed over Little Rock Christian once again to secure the third-place spot in the tournament.
The tournament is a significant part of Warren’s preparation for the 2024 football season, which kicks off on August 30 with an away game at Greenbrier. Additionally, the Lumberjacks are scheduled to play a scrimmage game at McGehee on August 23, providing another opportunity to fine-tune their game.
