Tenth Judicial District Drug Task Force Honored with Spartan Award for Excellence in Drug Law Enforcement

The following is a press release from the Tenth Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Frank Spain:

On July 17, 2024, Col. Mike Hagar, Cabinet Secretary for the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, and Thomas Fisher, Arkansas Drug Director, presented the Spartan Award in recognition of service, dedication, and excellence in drug law enforcement to Tenth Judicial District Drug Task Force Cmdr. James Slaughter and the Tenth Drug Task Force. Col. Hagar also presented Cmdr. Slaughter with a letter of congratulations from Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Cmdr. Slaughter was grateful for the award, and wanted to thank Prosecuting Attorney Frank Spain, the  Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Desha, and Drew County Sheriffs and local police departments for the team effort by all law enforcement agencies within the 10th Judicial District to combat drug crime and the related thefts and violence attached to them.
