Jim Bob McDougald passed away on Sunday, July 21. He was born on November 23, 1952, to William C. McDougald and Flora Langston McDougald in Gravel Ridge, Arkansas.
Throughout his life, Jim Bob was known for his immense love and devotion to his family, especially his granddaughters. He cherished moments spent with them, creating lasting memories filled with joy and laughter.Beyond his role as a loving father and grandfather, Jim Bob was a devoted husband to his wife, Donna Craig McDougald. They were married for almost 45 years at the time of Donna’s death in 2019. He loved music and “tinkering” on vehicles. He will be remembered for his gentle, genuine nature with a dash of harmless mischief.
Jim Bob is survived by his daughters, Anita Lynn (William) and Jamie Davis (Jeremy), his beloved grandbabies, Olivia Lynn and Josie Davis, sister Jackie Johnson, brothers Kenneth McDougald (Brenda) and Danny McDougald, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jim Bob’s kindness, warmth, and unfaltering love for his family and friends will be remembered by those whose lives he touched. May he rest forever in peace and love.
Visitation will be 10:00AM Friday July 26th 2024 at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday July 26th at Frazer’s Chapel with Reverend Ricky Rawls officiating. Burial in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
