WARREN, Ark. — The highly anticipated community-wide open house event at Warren High School, originally scheduled for August 5 at 10:30 am, has been rescheduled to a later date yet to be announced. The open house was planned to showcase the school’s Jostens Grand Prize, awarded earlier this year.
In January, Warren High School was awarded the prestigious $150,000 Epic School Revamp grant by Jostens. The announcement was made during a lively pep rally at Lumberjack Arena on the Warren School District campus, where Jostens representatives revealed the grand prize to the enthusiastic applause of students, staff, and community members.
The $150,000 grant includes a refreshed school identity and updated branding, invitations and travel expenses for key representatives to attend the Jostens Renaissance Global Conference (JRGC), and a comprehensive consultation with Jostens’ identity and culture experts. This award was the result of a compelling video application submitted by Warren EAST students Esperanza Vera, Braylen Watson, Sarah Forrest, Tanijha Chalk, Jayla Strickland, and Murphie Wilkinson, under the guidance of Payton Reep, the East Facilitator.
The new date will be announced soon.
