The second annual Mrs. Beverly Reep Memorial 5K Run/Walk is now accepting entries for the event December 26, 2021.
Once again this year, the event is being held virtually, which means that once signed up, runners and walkers may take part in the event at their own convenience.
The event was established in 2020 to celebrate the life of beloved educator Mrs. Beverly Reep, who served both the Warren and Hermitage School Districts over a lengthy career. Christmas was an especially joyful time for Mrs. Reep, so the event is held in her memory the day after Christmas.
Once a participant has paid their $25 entry fee, simply post a picture of yourself with the hashtag #sleighedthereep5k on either Facebook or Instagram to be entered in for a chance to win a $100 cash prize donated by Union Bank & Trust.
The proceeds from the 5K will go towards The Beverly Reep Memorial Fund. The event is virtual, so packets with race bibs will be mailed to participants upon registration submission.
