WARREN, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjacks notched their first victory of the 2024 season in style on Friday night, cruising past the White Hall Bulldogs 46-14 in front of a lively home crowd. It was Warren’s first game on their own turf this season, and the Lumberjacks delivered an impressive performance from start to finish.

White Hall won the coin toss and deferred to the second half, giving Warren the ball to start. The Bulldogs attempted an onside kick, but Warren’s Colton Steen was quick to recover, setting up the Lumberjacks at midfield. A few plays later, Aaron Davis powered his way into the end zone from 1 yard out, capping the opening drive. Jacarlos Marquez added the extra point, putting Warren up 7-0 with 10:28 remaining in the first quarter.
Warren’s defense wasted no time getting involved, as Braxton Hembree intercepted a White Hall pass near midfield, but a fumble shortly after gave the ball back to the Bulldogs. However, Warren’s Josiah Steen quickly regained possession with another interception at the White Hall 18-yard line. Quarterback Cam Burks then found AJ Jordan on a right-side rollout for a 3-yard touchdown pass, extending the lead to 14-0 with just seconds left in the first quarter.
The second quarter saw Warren continue their dominance. Burks connected with Steen for a 34-yard touchdown pass at the 10:47 mark, and later hit Tramond Miller with a 49-yard strike, pushing the score to 27-0. A blocked punt by Anthony Ross gave Warren excellent field position, leading to Davis’ second touchdown of the night, a 2-yard rush with 19 seconds remaining in the half. Warren took a commanding 33-0 lead into halftime.
Heavy rain arrived in the third quarter, but the Lumberjacks didn’t slow down. Bleyze Fellows made a spectacular interception at the White Hall 44, though a later field goal attempt was returned by White Hall for their first score of the night. Despite the rain, Warren’s defense continued to shine. Trestan Greene recovered a fumble late in the third quarter, setting up yet another rushing touchdown by Davis, his third of the game. Davis would add his fourth score shortly after, as the Lumberjacks enforced the sportsmanship rule with a 46-7 lead.
White Hall managed a late touchdown, but it served only as consolation as Warren closed out the game to move to 1-1 on the season. The Lumberjacks now look ahead to next week, when they will face Elkins at the ASN Football Classic in Russellville.
