WARREN, Ark. – The Bradley County Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual awards banquet Tuesday evening at the Warren Country Club, recognizing outstanding individuals for their service to the community.
Chamber Board Chairman Dana Harvey took the stage to announce the 2024 Volunteer of the Year, highlighting the nominee’s exceptional contributions. “The nominee that was chosen had a very special nomination that basically, to summarize, stated that this was a person willing every year to take part to help with the Pink Tomato Festival and was also very active with the Bradley County Rural Fire Department. This is a person who didn’t mind being in the background and never sought recognition or praise.”
Kenneth Saunders was honored with the 2024 Volunteer of the Year award for his many years of dedicated volunteer work. His selfless efforts have made a significant impact on Bradley County, and he was graciously thanked for his continued support of the community.
Saunders expressed his appreciation, thanking the committee for the recognition.
In addition to Saunders, Mrs. Terrie White, former President of the Chamber who recently retired, was honored for her dedicated service to the organization.
Guests enjoyed a chicken and baked potato dinner, followed by live music for entertainment, rounding out the evening of celebration and gratitude.
