Boll Weevil Offense Drives Past Wonder Boys for 24-13 Win

MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team returned to Willis “Convoy” Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium on Saturday afternoon for the 2024 Parent and Family Weekend game against Arkansas Tech University. The contest concluded with a 24-13 win for UAM.

Senior quarterback Demilon Brown gave UAM a 5-14 performance with only 25 passing yards on the night, giving the Boll Weevils a true showcase of his ability to run the ball with 204 net yards on the ground. Brown gave 20 rushing attempts, averaging 10.2 yards per carry. Isaiah Cross was the leading receiver in the game, grabbing two receptions for 15 total yards, with the longest being 9 yards

Defensively, Robert Iverson Jr. stood above the rest, grabbing 13 total tackles, with 10 solo stops and a sack for seven yards lost on the night.

Dylan Duhon saw a career-long, 45-yard field goal on the night, as well as 3 PATs made.
