The game opened with a strong showing from Warren’s defense, forcing Crossett into a three-and-out on their first possession. Warren quarterback Cam Burks wasted no time capitalizing, connecting with Antonio Jordan for a 15-yard touchdown pass on a two-play drive, putting the Lumberjacks ahead 7-0 just over two minutes into the game.

Crossett’s struggles continued with another three-and-out, but a Warren special teams mishap gave the Eagles a brief opportunity. However, Warren’s defense quickly regrouped, maintaining the shutout. On their next drive, Burks targeted Jordan downfield, but a deflection off Jordan’s hands fortunately found Tramond Miller, who raced 49 yards for a touchdown, extending the lead to 14-0.

With less than a minute remaining in the first quarter, Aaron Davis broke through Crossett’s defense for a 24-yard rushing touchdown, making it 21-0. Burks later connected with Neon’dre Thomas for an 18-yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter, and an 81-yard drive capped by a 3-yard rushing touchdown from Aaron Woodard pushed Warren’s lead to 35-0 before halftime.

With the sportsmanship rule in effect in the second half, the clock ran continuously. Crossett managed a rushing touchdown in the third quarter, but David Jordan Jr. immediately responded for Warren with a spectacular 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, putting the Lumberjacks up 42-7.

Crossett added a late touchdown in the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late as Warren closed out the regular season with a 42-14 victory. The Lumberjacks finished conference play at a perfect 6-0, outscoring their 8-4A opponents by a total of 308-127.
