Eloise Mann, 1929-2025

Eloise Mann, age 95 of Warren, AR went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the home of her daughter and husband in the Sumpter Community. She was born to the late Hill Carruth Steadman and Rephael Temperance Grider Steadman on July 2, 1929, in Bradley County. She was known by her grandchildren as “Grandma Hi-top” and many locals as “Mrs. Cato” for she managed the Warren Cato store for 31 years.

She was a member of Saline Baptist Church in the Sumpter Community, but before the Covid Epidemic, she attended Christian Fellowship Church in Warren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, stepmother Alice Steadman, half-brother Frank Steadman, brother-in-law John Trussell, great nephew Christian Seth Carmical, and great niece, Brianna Faith Carmical, nephew-in-law, Dr. Ben Foster, and sister, Shirley Ann Carmical.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Diane and husband Steve Parnell; her grandchildren: Kevin Wade Parnell and wife Beth Ann, Elizabeth Temperance and husband Dr. Sammy Pope, and a step-grandson Stephen Michael Parnell, Jr.; great grandchildren: Aleesa Beth Parnell, Trevis Austin Hayes, Robert Marshall Parnell, and Gabriel Illias Hayes and wife Gracie. One great-great grandson: Greyson Parker Hayes; sister Robbie Ruth Trussell; nieces: Debbie Lohnes and Pam Foster, and nephews: David Carmical and wife Patti and John Trussell and wife Debbie. Step nieces: Liana, Connie, and Betsy Steadman and step nephew David Steadman.

The family would like to express a deep gratitude and appreciation for the care given our loved one by Dr. Hank Wharton, the staff of Little Rock Baptist North and Bradley County Memorial Hospital plus the Home Health Agency and Hospice workers. A special thank you to Cecelia Ann Cook and Barbara House for the special care they gave.

Funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Bro. Wayman Mann, Bro. Tim Saunders and Bro. Brandon Massey officiating. Burial was Outlaw Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.

 Pallbearers: Michael Bowman, Gerald Wilson, Sam Griffin, Brent Mann, David Gorman, David Grider.

Honorary pallbearers: David Carmical, R. L. Gates, Wayne Griffin, Dr. Donnie Bryant, Jimmy Taylor, Allen Ray Miller, Blake Raney, Dr. Hank Wharton, Faith Sunday School Class of IBC.

Memorials: Immanuel Baptist Church, Saline Baptist Church, Hope Place of Warren.
