HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – SEACBEC announced Tuesday that 41 students competed at the 2025 Arkansas SkillsUSA State Conference in Hot Springs, with several bringing home top honors for their performance in career and technical education events.
The SEACBEC chapter earned Quality Chapter recognition and was awarded Chapter Excellence Distinction – Gold. Multiple students received medals in their individual and team competitions:
- Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) – Gold: Griselda Herrera, Alex Perez, Demetriyan Crawley; Alternate: Yecica De La Sancha-Salinas
- Plumbing – Gold: Judson Bolland
- Plumbing – Bronze: Bradley Mann
- Quiz Bowl – Silver: Taliyah Walton, Sarah Villeda, Everlyn Torres, Annette Escobedo, Memphis Pacheco, J’Ciana Strong
- Carpentry Display – Bronze: Jackson Bratton
SEACBEC sponsors attending the event included Jessica Johnson (Criminal Justice), Jeremy Groves (Construction), Justin Hollingsworth and Billy Jones (Computer Science), Pauline Wylie (Medical), Jamie Vail (Welding), and SEACBEC Director Devin McDiarmid.
