Warren Honors Hall of Fame Inductees at 2025 Ceremony

The family of late Coach Don Whittemore accepted the plaque for his induction into the Lumberjack Sports Hall of Fame.

WARREN, Ark. — The Lumberjack community came together Monday evening at Lumberjack Arena to celebrate the induction of three individuals and one team into the Warren Lumberjack Sports Hall of Fame.

This year’s honorees included the late Coach Don Whittemore, longtime head junior high football coach; Coach Robert Cuthbertson, former head baseball coach and leader of Warren’s 2005 state championship team; Kilay Cox, standout tailback and member of the 2014 state champion football team; and the entire 2014 Warren Lumberjack Football Team, which captured the 4A State Championship.

Family members, teammates, and friends gathered to honor the legacy and accomplishments of each inductee. Special recognition was given to all members of the 2014 team in attendance, many of whom proudly wore their championship rings during the evening.

Coach Whittemore was remembered for the lasting impact he made on generations of Warren athletes, not only as a coach but also as a mentor and role model. Coach Cuthbertson’s tenure was marked by multiple conference titles and culminated in Warren’s only baseball state title in school history. Cox was celebrated for his explosive play on the field and the pivotal role he played during the 2014 championship run.
