Mayme Ruth Sanders Lasiter, age 95, of Warren, AR passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 at home. She was born on February 3, 1930 in Bradley County, AR to the late Edgar Sanders and Ruth Robinson Sanders Griffin. She was a graduate of Warren High School, a member of Immanuel Baptist and co-owner of Lasiter Garage and a homemaker.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Marvin “Booty” Lasiter whom she married on December 29, 1948 and he passed away on January 18, 2016; step-father, Luther Griffin and brother, Charles Sanders.
She is survived by one son, Jim Lasiter of Warren, AR; three daughters, Debbi Hargrave and spouse Bobby, Terri Slaughter and spouse Bill and Denecia Sellers and spouse John all of Warren, AR; sister, Rachel Lawson of White Hall, AR; 6 grandchildren, Brad Hargrave (Brittany), Ryan Slaughter (Stephanie), Jarrod Hargrave (Staci), Jeff Slaughter (Kelli), Matt Sellers (Tenay) and Mary Jo Lasiter (Drew) and 14 great-grandchildren, Westin, Miles, Carson, Weston, Emmitt, Natalie, Asher, Eva, Beau, Paisley, Fletcher, Kinsley, Avery, and Todd.
Funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2025 at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
