Gary “Bo” McClellan age 78, of New Edinburg, AR died Wednesday, June 25th, 2025 at his home. He was born March 22nd, 1947 in New Edinburg, AR a son of the late Grice McClellan and Bernice Bryant McClellan. Also preceding him in death was his son, Stephen McClellan and a sister Glenda McClellan.
Bo was known for his hard work, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to his family. A proud Vietnam War veteran, he earned two Bronze Stars for his service and bravery.
After returning home, Bo built a life centered around providing for and protecting the people he loved. He had a deep love for the outdoors and spent countless days hunting, enjoying nature, and making memories with his family.
Whether it was sharing a laugh on the porch, teaching life lessons in the woods, or showing up when it mattered most, Bo made sure his family knew they were loved and cared for. His legacy of loyalty, love, and grit will live on in every story told and every memory shared. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grice McClellan and Bernice McClellan; his son, Stephen McClellan; and his sister, Glenda McClellan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Morgan McClellan; his daughter, Renee Bassetti and spouse Kevin Bassetti; his sister, Patsy King; his grandchildren: Laci Dalton and spouse Kevin Dalton, Rachel Billingsley, Marcus Dylan Johnston, and Tanner Bassetti and spouse Dallas Bassetti; and his great-grandchildren: Clayton Elliot, Britian Lucas, Jhett Tacker, Hadley Ruth Dalton, Motley “Bo” McClellan, and Stormi Jackson.Memorial services 10:00AM Saturday, June 28th at Frazer’s Chapel. Visitation 9:00AM till service time at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Private burial services at a later day.
