WARREN, Ark. – The Bradley County Extension Office recently gave a special shoutout to Mrs. Carol Murphy and Linda Kercheval, two dedicated 4-H leaders, for their outstanding work with local youth during the Summer Sewing Camp.

Held as part of the Bradley County 4-H program, the camp brought together a group of young girls eager to learn practical sewing skills. Under the guidance of Murphy and Kercheval, participants not only honed their sewing abilities but also used their talents to make a meaningful impact in the community.

One of the highlights of the camp included creating handmade pillows to donate to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. These pillows will be given to patients with broken bones, helping to make their ride home a little more comfortable and offering a heartfelt gesture of support from the youth of Bradley County.

The Extension Office encourages local families to get their children involved in 4-H, where they can gain valuable life skills while giving back to others. For more information on enrollment, contact the Bradley County Extension Office.
