WARREN, Ark. – The search for missing Warren man Rodney (Rod) Dean Riedel, 58, has shifted to Van Buren County after new information from cell tower records emerged over the weekend.

On Sunday afternoon, phone records showed Riedel’s last known phone activity pinged off a tower near Clinton, Arkansas, in the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 6. His case has since been transferred to the Arkansas State Police and Van Buren County authorities, who are working together to organize a search of the area.
Riedel was last seen on the night of Tuesday, August 5, at approximately 10:00 p.m., leaving the Alon Station on Martin Street in Warren. He was reportedly traveling to Branson, Missouri, to meet with family. His wife last made contact with him at approximately 11:42 p.m. that night, when he was believed to be between Little Rock and Conway.
He was driving a black 2007 Honda Ridgeline pickup with Arkansas license plate number BCV43D.
