James C. King age 88 of Warren died Sunday, October 12, 2025. Jimmy spent 50 years working at Southern Sawmill, Potlach Corporation where he retired as head saw filer. He was an active member of Warren community and an avid Lumberjack sports
fan. He was a member of the Warren Jaycees, serving as local President and as a member of the Arkansas Jaycees State
Board. He coached little league baseball for many years at the YMCA, instilling positive character traits and a love for the sport in
the members of his teams. Jimmy was a quiet man with a quick wit for those who knew him well. He was very involved with his
family. His children, grandchildren, and great grandchild knew their “Pop” was their number one fan on a field, court, or stage.
He impressed upon them all the importance of hard work and education and got to see all of his grandchildren graduate college.
He was a member of First Methodist Church in Warren. Jimmy was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and wife of
64 years, Nancy King along with his parents, Hilton and Cora King, his five brothers, and his granddaughter, Ashley Wader. He
is survived by his children David (Julie) King of Warren and Diana Wader of Conway, grandchildren Katie Kuhn (Jacob), Sara Hicks (Jacob), Sydney Cantwell (Dylan), and Austin Wader, and his great granddaughter, Gabby Kuhn.
