Goodwin Found Not Guilty in Child Sexual Abuse Materials Case

WARREN, Ark. (10-31-25) — Local Pastor Rocky Goodwin has been found not guilty on all charges related to child sexual abuse materials, according to THV11 News.

The verdict came Thursday following a two-day trial that began the day before. The jury’s decision was unanimous and cleared Goodwin of all charges he had faced.

During the proceedings, THV11 reported that the defense argued malware or a virus might have caused the files to appear on the computer, while prosecutors presented digital evidence—including audio and visual files—as part of their case.

Goodwin was arrested by Arkansas State Police after cyber-tips were sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in 2023. Investigators executed a search warrant at his home on May 3, 2024, seizing several devices.
