Trading Blows Early
Crossett opened the night by receiving the kickoff but quickly went three-and-out, setting up Warren’s first scoring drive. Starting at their own 22-yard line, the Lumberjacks marched downfield, finishing with a six-yard touchdown run up the middle by Aaron Davis at 8:21. The extra point missed, but Warren jumped ahead 6–0.
Crossett countered moments later with a 66-yard touchdown pass off a screen at 5:53, moving in front 7–6 after the extra point. Warren answered on fourth down, as Jackson Denton connected with Tayshawn Edwards for a 14-yard touchdown at 3:51. Jacarlos Marquez added the kick for a 13–7 lead.
The Eagles reclaimed the advantage at 2:13 with a touchdown pass and extra point, making it 14–13. Warren’s final drive of the quarter ended inches short of the goal line, halted on fourth down at the three.

Momentum Turns Orange and Black
Warren’s defense stepped up to open the second quarter, forcing a stop and setting up another Davis touchdown, this time a 10-yard rush at 9:42 to push Warren back ahead 20–14 after the PAT. Crossett’s quarterback answered with a three-yard scoring run at 3:41, putting the Eagles up 21–20, but the Lumberjacks were far from done.
At 1:54, Denton hit Bleyze Fellows on a 14-yard touchdown to retake the lead, 26–21. Warren then executed a perfect onside kick recovery, and Denton once again found Fellows — same distance, same precision — for another 14-yard score at 1:15. The two-point attempt failed, but the Jacks extended their cushion to 32–21.
Just seconds later, De’Sean Adams picked off a Crossett pass near midfield, and Denton capitalized immediately, delivering a 42-yard strike to Fellows for his third touchdown catch in less than two minutes. The conversion failed, but Warren stormed into halftime ahead 38–21.
Air and Ground Attack Unstoppable
The offensive onslaught continued into the third quarter. Denton opened the half with a 43-yard bomb to Josiah Steen at 11:31, lofted perfectly over Crossett’s coverage. Marquez’s kick made it 45–21.
Less than a minute later, Davis broke loose for an 11-yard touchdown run, widening the margin to 52–21. Crossett finally caught a break when Warren was intercepted in the red zone, leading to a seven-yard touchdown pass for the Eagles at 5:24.
But the Jacks’ offense quickly answered. Davis powered in another short rushing touchdown at 4:37, then added a one-yard plunge at 2:13 to make it 66–28. With the sportsmanship rule in effect, Warren had firmly seized control.
Final Stretch and Postseason Outlook
Crossett tacked on one final touchdown at 5:39 in the fourth quarter, but it was far too late to slow Warren’s momentum. The Lumberjacks walked away with a 66–34 victory, finishing the regular season on a two-game win streak and cementing themselves as a dangerous postseason threat.
Now at 7–3 overall (5–2 in 8-4A), Warren closes the regular season third in the conference standings. The Lumberjacks will return to action next Friday, November 14, in the opening round of the 2025 State Playoffs, with their opponent to be announced this weekend.
