MONTICELLO, Ark. – The Warren Lady Jacks delivered a statement performance Tuesday evening, defeating the Drew Central Lady Pirates 59–38 to capture the championship of the Commercial Bank Southeast Arkansas Holiday Tournament and continue one of the strongest starts the program has seen in nearly 30 years.

Now 16–1 on the season, the Lady Jacks’ latest victory underscored the growth and consistency of a team that has quickly established itself as one of the top squads in South Arkansas under second-year head coach Mary Beth Grant.

Warren controlled the game from the opening tip and never relinquished the lead after Charlee Wardlaw opened the scoring with a three-pointer. From there, the Lady Jacks dictated the pace on both ends of the floor, showing composure and confidence throughout the championship matchup.

The first quarter set the tone early. After Drew Central briefly tied the game at 8–8, Warren responded with an 8–1 run to close the quarter, sparked by a three-pointer from Alyssa Calbert and consecutive baskets from Breize Fellows and Wardlaw.

Momentum continued in the second quarter as the Lady Jacks steadily built their lead. Fellows knocked down a key three-pointer, and Brooklyne McVay added a timely basket from the perimeter as Warren pushed its advantage to 30–15 by halftime.

Drew Central made its strongest push in the third quarter with a 6–0 run, but the Lady Jacks remained poised. Bayleigh Miller stepped up during the stretch, scoring five points in the quarter to halt the rally and keep Warren firmly in control.

Breize Fellows led the Lumberjacks with 20 points in their tournament championship win.

Any remaining doubt was erased in the fourth quarter when Fellows delivered back-to-back three-pointers during a decisive scoring run that pushed the lead comfortably out of reach. Warren closed the game with maturity and balance, sealing a dominant championship victory.

Fellows led all scorers with 20 points, while Miller added 15 points in another strong all-around effort. Wardlaw finished with 12 points, setting the tone early and providing consistent production throughout the night. The balanced scoring and steady execution reflected a team playing with confidence and purpose.

The Lady Jacks will be off until the new year before returning to action January 6, when they host Arkadelphia at home.
