Danny Ray Howard age 67 of Rison, AR died Monday January 12th, 2026 at the Greenhouse Cottages in Rison, AR. He was born June 5th, 1958 in Warren, AR a son of the late Hughie Kimbrell and Shirley Ezell Howard. Danny Ray was employed with Smart Chevrolet for 25 years and a member of Center Missionary Baptist Church. Danny Ray was a 1977 graduate of Warren High School and a member of Macedonia Deer Camp, where he and his family loved to be apart of. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Penny Whitten Howard whom he married September 8th, 1979 and she tragically passed away September 17th, 2019.
Survivors include his son, Tony Howard and spouse Marcie, Rison, AR and his daughter Whitney Howard Bradford and spouse Derek, Hampton, AR. Brother, Ricky Kimbrell and wife Lisa Kimbrell, Louisiana, and sister, Jennifer white and spouse Jeff White of Wilmar, Ar. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, Brock Southerland, Brody Howard, Trent Southerland, Kase Gober, Maeleigh Norton,Penlee Howard and Kolbie Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and good friends.
Funeral services 10:00am, Thursday January 15th at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial in Prosperity Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation 6:00PM till 8:00PM Wednesday evening at Frazer’s Funeral Home.
