WARREN, Ark. — Bradley County youth will have an opportunity to explore the outdoors and learn about nature during an upcoming 4-H Spring Break event later this month at Pinnacle Mountain State Park.
The program, titled “Explore – Learn – Hike: Spring Break the 4-H Way,” will take place March 26 at 10 a.m. at Pinnacle Mountain State Park. The park is located at 9600 AR-300 in Roland.
According to information released by the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Extension Service, the event will feature both an educational program and a guided hike for participating youth.
The schedule for the day includes:
- 10:00 a.m. – Bird Beak Program
- 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Guided hike
- Lunch – Participants will eat at David’s Burgers following the hike
Organizers noted that all children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the event.
Those wishing to participate must register by March 19 by calling the Bradley County Extension Office.
The event is part of the Arkansas 4-H program, which provides educational activities and hands-on learning opportunities for youth across the state through the Cooperative Extension Service.
