MORO BAY, Ark. — Students from the Warren High School EAST program recently contributed a new historical display to Moro Bay State Park by creating a 3-D model of the historic Moro Bay Ferry.
The students designed and built the model as part of a project focused on the history of the park and its role in connecting communities across the bay. The ferry once served as an important transportation link for residents and travelers in the region before modern bridges were built.

The finished model was presented to park officials during a recent visit to the park.
Students involved in the project included Treyden Newton, Ryan Spears, Kaystean Jacobs, CJ McGhee, and Jaylon Harding. They were accompanied by Assistant Superintendent Mike Thomas.

The model will now become part of the park’s educational displays and is available for visitors to view inside the exhibit room adjacent to the Moro Bay State Park Visitor Center. The display helps highlight both the history of the ferry and the role it played in shaping travel and commerce in the Moro Bay area.
Park officials said the model adds to the collection of nature and history exhibits available for visitors exploring the park.
