The Rotary Club of Warren met Tuesday, March 10 for its first meeting of March inside the Fellowship Hall at First Methodist Church. The group heard from five total Junior Rotarians with the first two being from Hermitage High School. Sarah Huitt spoke first and was followed by classmate Alayjah Strong. Both young women were very well spoken as they touched on current activities, achievements, and future plans. Both were very complimentary of the tight-knit community of Hermitage and the school district.

Three Junior Rotarians from Warren High School took the stage after with Ren Reep leading off. Reep was followed by Delaney Herring and Shyla Triplett. All three also talked about their current activities, achievements, and plans for the future. There was no formal program for the afternoon, but Rotarian Carlton Davis used his time for the “Happy Box” to talk about how the Rotary Club helps fund the Bradley County Imagination Library. Fellow Rotarian Dennen Cuthbertson touched on some happenings at Bradley County Medical Center with Dr. Bradley Biggers transitioning to full-time hospitalist and returning to the BCMC Rural Health Clinic earlier this month to see family practice patients. He also said the hospital is planning a celebration of its 75th Anniversary in June, and more details would be forthcoming. The next meeting for the group is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24.
