Warren, Ark. (3-16-26) — A Warren High School student has announced plans to continue her musical career at Southern Arkansas University this fall.
According to a social media post from the Southern Arkansas University Bands program, Jaretsy Torres, a clarinetist from Warren High School, has signed to join the university’s band program and will major in biochemistry.
The announcement was shared by SAU Bands on March 12 and included a photo of Torres signing her paperwork in front of a Southern Arkansas University Bands backdrop.
“Another great signing to announce. Jaretsy Torres is a clarinetist from Warren High School who will be a Biochemistry major when she joins us in the fall,” the post stated.
Torres will begin classes and participate in the SAU band program during the upcoming fall semester in Magnolia.
