RISON, Ark. — A scholarship bake sale in memory of Tristen Miller is scheduled for Thursday, April 2, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 6760 Highway 63 in Rison.
The event is being organized by Woodlawn High School Spanish and will feature a wide variety of homemade desserts, including pies, cakes, and other baked goods. Organizers say proceeds from the sale will go toward a scholarship for Woodlawn seniors, as well as support for community projects.
The bake sale will be open to the public, with both online and onsite purchasing options available. Organizers also noted that community support is encouraged, and pickup for orders will be available until 6 p.m. for convenience.
As of this week, dozens of people have already responded to the event, reflecting strong early interest from the community.
