MONTICELLO, Ark. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) Division of Music will host “Jazz Combo in Concert” on Monday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Building in the Harris Recital Hall, Room 101, on UAM’s Monticello campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Under the direction of Dr. Kevin Bryson, assistant professor of music and director of jazz studies at UAM, and Drew Leder, graduate assistant in the Division of Music at UAM, the concert will feature the university’s jazz combos playing standard jazz repertoire and reinterpretation of popular music from the 1960s through the present day, followed by an open jam session.
