Lady Jacks Explode for Eight-Run Fifth, Shut Out Crossett 10-0

The first inning and a half was a pitching duel with great defense.

In the bottom of the 2nd inning, the Lady Jacks took a 1-0 lead.

The Lady Jacks scored another run in the bottom of the 3rd inning.

The Lady Jacks carried a 2-0 lead into the bottom of the 5th inning, when Warren’s bats came to life. The Lady Jacks sent 11 batters to the plate. Warren banged out 8 hits and scored 8 runs to take a 10-0 win.

Breize Fellows went 2-2 at the plate. Bayleigh Miller, Ember Johnson, and Natalie Hargrave each went 2-3. Haven Johnson, Rayleigh Milton, Charlee Wardlaw, and Brooklyne McVay were each 1-3.

Brooklyn McVay pitched a 3-hit shutout to pick up the win. She struck out 3 and walked 1.

Warren is 7-5 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.
