WARREN — Eight students from Warren High School’s band program recently participated in Region Solo & Ensemble, earning top marks for their performances.
According to a social media post from Warren High School, each student selected and prepared a piece of music independently, working with minimal assistance from a director. Their efforts resulted in all eight students receiving a superior (1st division) rating on their solo performances.
In addition to the group’s success, Javier Garcia qualified for the State Solo & Ensemble competition.
The Region Solo & Ensemble event allows student musicians to demonstrate individual performance skills, with ratings based on musical accuracy, tone, and overall presentation.
Warren High School recognized the students’ achievement, highlighting both their dedication and ability to perform at a high level with limited guidance.
