BCMC Auxiliary Hosts Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association Southeast District Spring Meeting

The Bradley County Medical Center Auxiliary hosted the 2026 Arkansas Hospital Association Southeast District Spring Meeting on Tuesday, April 14 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Warren.

The meeting began at 9 a.m. with registration as auxiliary members from a number of different hospitals in the region trickled in. Hospitals with representatives included Baptist Health Medical Center – Drew County, Chicot Memorial Medical Center, Delta Memorial Hospital, DeWitt Hospital, Jefferson Regional Medical Center, and host BCMC.

BCMC Auxiliary President Mark Deal called the meeting to order with auxilian Kay Robinson leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Auxilian Cathy Hines led the group in the Auxiliary Prayer before comments from Warren Mayor Gregg Reep and BCMC CEO/CFO Leslie Huitt.

District Chair Barbara Goodwin conducted the business meeting with District Secretary Stephanie Wilson reading the minutes from last year’s gathering. BCMC Auxilian Cecilia Whittemore is the District Treasurer and gave her report as well before the crowd heard from AHAA President Mary Catherine Propes. The AHAA President Elect Judy Lawrence spoke about her vision for the upcoming year.

Presidents from all the auxiliaries in attendance gave a report before Rev. Brandon Massey of Immanuel Baptist Church gave the invocation. Lunch by Kay’s Cake and Catering was served with Linda Baker Warrick providing entertainment. Door prizes were handed out before the adjournment of the meeting.
