WARREN, Ark. – A new chapter is underway for Hope on the Hill Church following a groundbreaking ceremony held Sunday, April 19, 2026, marking the beginning of construction on a new church building at the site of the former Lighthouse Church.
The original Lighthouse Church building was destroyed by fire on February 2, 2022. Now, just over four years later, church leaders and community members gathered to celebrate the start of rebuilding efforts and look ahead to the future.
Approximately 50 people attended the ceremony. Those present included Pastor Vernon Colvin II and Tammy Colvin, Warren Mayor Gregg Reep, Pastor Necefero Castillo, Bishop Datrick Wiley, contractor Shannon Gorman, and evangelists Kevin and Veronica Powers.

The new facility will be built at the location of the former church, with construction expected to begin within the next three weeks.
The project represents a significant milestone for the congregation, reflecting both recovery and growth following the loss of the previous building. Church leaders expressed anticipation for what the new structure will mean for their ministry and the community.
