WARREN, Ark. – Friday night entertainment for the Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival will be headlined by the Avery Langford Band, according to a recent announcement from festival organizers.
The performance is scheduled for Friday, June 12 at 8 p.m. in downtown Warren.
Langford, 20, is the son of Cameron and Kim Langford of Warren and comes from a family with a strong musical background. Music has long been a part of the Langford family, with multiple generations, including his grandfather Gary Langford and uncle Chris, involved in performing.
The band will include experienced local musicians and will feature steel guitar player Gene Simmons, who has recently shared the stage with Ward Davis at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
Langford has built a regional following across South Arkansas and into Louisiana, known for his country sound and vocal style. In addition to his own performances, he also plays regularly with the Grace Cowboy Band in Warren and at other venues.
Festival attendees can expect a setlist that spans several decades of country music, including hits from the 1980s through the 2000s. Songs from artists such as Trace Adkins, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, and Tyler Childers are expected to be part of the show. The performance will also include Southern gospel selections, including “Who Am I,” a song made popular by Casting Crowns.
