HERMITAGE, Ark. — Residents of Hermitage will have an opportunity to dispose of unwanted household items during a citywide clean up event scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026.
The all-day event will take place at the Hermitage Community Center, where two 30-yard dumpsters will be available for public use. The clean up effort is designed to help residents clear out items from their homes that may not be easily discarded through regular trash services.
City officials noted that while many items will be accepted, certain materials will not be permitted in the dumpsters. A list of restricted items is expected to be provided to ensure proper disposal guidelines are followed.
Food trucks are also planned for the event, offering refreshments for those participating throughout the day.
