Mark Anthony Clanton age 68 of Warren, AR died Monday, May 4th, 2026 at his home. He was born November 2, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri. Mark was the son of the late Wayne Allen Clanton and Ora King Clanton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Dale Clanton, a niece Jennifer Diane Clanton and a nephew Benjamin Ryan Reeves. His family moved to Arkansas when he was 13. Mark was a graduate of Warren High School and he furthered his education at vocational schools in Pine Bluff, AR. He then went to work at Potlatch in Warren, AR where he spent 43 years of service as head welder and retired from Potlatch Lumber Company.
Mark loved all sports, especially football, basketball and baseball. He loved being outdoors and was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed several years of deep-sea fishing with “The Boys”.
Surviving is his wife, Debbie Clanton, of nearly 20 years. Mark was the greatest love of her life. Daughters, Melanie Williams and spouse Tim, Wilmar, AR and Misty Hammock and spouse Stephen, Warren, AR. andMarci Clanton, Marlin, TX. A brother David Clanton and spouse Rose, Warren, AR and his sister Dr. Cathey Reeves and spouse David, Bowling Green, KY. Grandchildren Sarah Jo Wagnon, Cody Willaims, Joseph Williams, Taylar Barnett and Rollie Barnett. 11 Great-grandchildren.
Graveside services 2:00PM Thursday, May 7th 2026 at Union Hill Cemetery with Rev. Tim Williams officiating. Burial in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation 1:00PM till service time on Thursday May 7th at Union Hill Cemetery.
