WARREN, Ark. — The Warren School District has announced plans to host a community-wide pep rally on Wednesday, May 20, at 1 p.m. inside Lumberjack Arena to celebrate the Warren Lady Jacks softball team’s historic run to the state championship game.
The event will honor the first state championship appearance in the history of the Warren softball program, following the Lady Jacks’ 6-2 semifinal victory over Brookland over the weekend.
Community members are invited to attend the pep rally and help show support for the Lady Jacks ahead of Friday’s championship matchup.
Warren will face conference rival Monticello in the 4A State Championship game Friday at 10 a.m. The title game marks an all-8-4A Conference showdown between the Lady Jacks and the Lady Billies.
The Warren School District is encouraging everyone attending Wednesday’s pep rally to wear orange and black and join in celebrating the team’s historic season.
