WARREN, Ark. — Warren Bank & Trust has been featured in a recent regional banking publication associated with Forbes and Fortune magazines, highlighting the institution’s longstanding role as a locally owned community bank serving rural Arkansas.

The feature, titled “The Enduring Power of a Family-Owned Bank in Rural America,” focuses on the bank’s history, community involvement, and continued independence during a period of significant consolidation within the banking industry.

Founded on Dec. 26, 1901, Warren Bank & Trust has operated in Bradley County for more than 120 years. The publication notes that the bank continues to be led by descendants of early leadership, with Chairman and CEO Thomas Frazer described as a fourth-generation banker carrying forward the institution’s legacy.

The article highlights the bank’s ties to the local community through decades of involvement in civic and agricultural initiatives. Among those mentioned is the bank’s longtime support of the Bradley County 4-H Banquet, as well as financial support for tomato research at the University of Arkansas beginning in the 1960s, reflecting the area’s strong agricultural roots.

The publication also discusses the changing landscape of community banking in Arkansas and across the country, noting that many locally owned banks have been absorbed into larger regional and national organizations in recent decades.

Warren Bank & Trust was presented in the feature as an example of a locally owned institution that has remained independent while continuing to modernize its banking services.

The publication states that community banking remains important because of its emphasis on local relationships, local decision-making, and long-term investment in the communities it serves.

The recognition comes as Warren Bank & Trust approaches its 125th anniversary in December 2026.

The full feature has also been shared publicly by Warren Bank & Trust through the bank’s website and social media platforms.
