WARREN, Ark. (5/20/26) – Bradley County Medical Center recently celebrated National Hospital Week May 10-16 with a number of activities centered around celebrating employees as the hospital prepares to celebrate its 75th anniversary in June.
Monday began with a proclamation by City of Warren Mayor Gregg Reep honoring BCMC during Hospital Week, while employees had the opportunity to purchase lunch from some local food trucks. The night shift was provided a pizza party. Commercial Bank grilled hamburgers for a free lunch for employees on Tuesday, while Rison Serenity Wellness Spa offered employees the opportunity to receive a free massage and chiropractic evaluation.
Wednesday’s activities featured the BCMC Employee Council serving free hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and more while CEO/CFO Leslie Huitt and Marketing Director Tiffany White made loaded teas for staffers. Union Bank and Trust sponsored Adam’s Ice Cream to come by later as employees were able to get a free sweet treat.
Thursday was a big day as the hospital held its Service Awards Ceremony. Paulette Tolefree (38 years) and Terry Young (22 years) are both retiring at the end of the month and were honored for their time at BCMC. The other awards were in increments of five years.

10 Years – Alea Scott, Tracy Armoster, Ronda Benton
15 Years – Krissy Morrison, Carolyn Thomas, Lillie Marlene Curry, and Bruce Sullivn
20 Years – Mark Weeks
25 Years – Terri Sutherland and Alaina Ashcraft
35 Years – Deena Cornish
45 Years – Deb Green


Legacy Rehabilitation, who BCMC contracts with for physical, occupational, and speech therapy, gave out a free barbecue lunch Thursday and during the afternoon a dunk booth was available giving employees a chance to dunk some of their coworkers. Warren Elementary School provided artwork that was displayed all week inside the hospital. Other organizations provided giveaways during the week.
Friday featured a vendor shop that allowed employees a chance to shop, while the hospital’s dietary provider CURA Hospitality fed the employees a free fish or chicken meal.
