MONTICELLO, Ark. — The Monticello Police Department has released the identities of the three people killed in a shooting early Monday morning in Monticello.
According to an updated press release from the Monticello Police Department, detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division are continuing to investigate the shooting, which occurred Monday, May 25.
Police said dispatchers received a 911 call at approximately 4 a.m. reporting a domestic disturbance at a residence within the city.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency Medical Services responded to the residence, and the Drew County Coroner later pronounced all three victims deceased.
Authorities identified the victims as Sherry Brown, McKenzie Lee Asarisi, and Keyshawn Laron Daniels after next of kin had been notified.
Police stated there is no threat to the public at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
In the release, the Monticello Police Department asked the public to keep the families involved in their prayers.
