WARREN, Ark. — The City of Warren will host a special event at the Warren City Pool from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
Food and refreshments will be available for children attending the event, and the public is invited to participate.
Mayor Gregg Reep will speak with young attendees during a celebration of the July 4 holiday and the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
A petition will also be available for those who wish to support the city’s effort to pursue grant funding for future repairs at the pool. City officials said the petition is intended to demonstrate community support as the city seeks funding opportunities for needed improvements.
