Roy Chester Green, 76, of Warren, passed away June 20, 2026. Born April 18, 1950, to Flossie Mae Allison and Lee Edward Green. He was a graduate of Desha High School, class of 1969 in McGehee, AR. He was employed with Potlatch Corp. for 36 1/5 years before his retirement.
He was married to Helen Jean Green for 51 years.
Roy loved fishing, listening to Blues, traveling, collecting souvenirs and taking pictures.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Flossie Mae Allison; father, Lee Edward Green; brothers, Edward Lee Green, Leon Green, Author Lee, Willie Ray Parks; sisters, Nancy Sue Clifton and Elza Lawson.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Helen Jean Green; children, Sylvia Green of Warren, AR., Roy Green Jr. of Pine Bluff, AR., Reulesha Wilson, Yolanda Robinson (Bruce) both of Bossier, LA.; brothers, Charles Green (Vicki), James Riley both of Warren, AR., Bobby Bell (Carolyn) of Hermitage, AR., Barry Allison (Elvina) of Houston, TX.; sisters, Bertha Green of Bastrop, LA., Stephanie Davis (Doniva) of Milwaukee, WI., Ibbelia Green of Jacksonville, AR., Anita Shaw (James Tenner) of Warren, AR., Natasha Charles Lowry of Monticello, AR., Contessa Alllison of Warren, AR., Shannella (Sonny Byrd) both of Houston, TX., grandchildren, Kirsten Green, Justin Green, Chelsey Wilson, Lauren Robinson, Alannah Robinson, Isa Jones; two great grandchildren, Navi King, Landon Jones; a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service was held July 3 at Union Cemetery in Warren with Elder Steve Mann officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery, Warren, AR. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
