The Bradley County Extension Office is inviting young cooks to put their culinary skills to the test during its upcoming Kid Chef Challenge.
The cooking contest will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, and is open to children and teenagers ages 5 to 19.
Participants should pick up a challenge packet from the Bradley County Extension Office and select a recipe featuring Arkansas-grown fruit. Contestants will prepare their dishes at home and bring them to the Extension Office for judging.
