Local emergency personnel responded Thursday, Aug. 6, to a FedEx Ground truck fire along the Warren bypass.
The truck was reported to be on the bypass near the Dollar General area. Photos submitted to Saline River News show the front portion of the delivery truck engulfed in flames, with heavy black smoke rising from the vehicle and fire spreading along the roadside.
Local emergency personnel later responded and the incident was brought under control.
Additional details, including what caused the fire and whether anyone was injured, were not immediately available.
