Arkansas-Monticello 2026 Cross Country Schedule Announced

MONTICELLO, Ark. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello men’s and women’s cross country schedule for the 2026 season includes five meets, with the Great American Conference meet scheduled for November 7 in Enid, Oklahoma.

In the first season under head coach Peyton Higgins, UAM will open the season with a trip to Conway, Arkansas, to compete in the UCA Bear Invitational on September 5. Both teams will run a 3-mile race.

The Weevils and Blossoms will then travel to Magnolia to compete in the Lois Davis Invitational, hosted by Southern Arkansas, on September 18. The Men will run an 8K, while the women will run a 5K.

A pair of races in Clinton, Mississippi, will conclude the non-conference race for UAM. The first is hosted by Belhaven University on October 3, while the next is hosted by Mississippi Christian University on October 16. The men will run an 8K in both, while the women will race in the 6K.

Northwestern Oklahoma State will host the GAC Championships on November 7.
