Women's Cross Country Selected 12th in GAC Preseason Poll

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its 2026 women’s cross country preseason coaches poll on Tuesday Morning.

The Arkansas-Monticello women’s team was voted to finish 12th. East Central University undoubtedly led the pack as the preseason favorite with 114 total points and six first-place votes, followed by Oklahoma Baptist (2 first-place votes) and Ouachita Baptist (3 first-place votes) tied for second with 107 points, Harding in fourth with 94 points and the remaining first-place vote, and Arkansas Tech in fifth with 76 points to round out the top 5 teams.

The 2026 cross country schedule will kick off on Saturday, Sept. 5 at the UCA Bear Invitational in Conway.
