New welcome signs are greeting visitors to Hermitage following a community-supported project funded by Hermit Huddle.

The City of Hermitage announced the addition of the signs Thursday, Aug. 28, thanking Hermit Huddle for purchasing them and recognizing Ronny Bethea for his role in helping make the project possible.

The new signs feature imagery closely associated with Hermitage, including tomatoes and watermelons, along with a prominent “Welcome to Hermitage” message.

City officials said the signs are a welcome addition to the community and expressed appreciation for those who helped make the project happen.

“It’s things like this that remind us how special it is to live in a community where people are willing to come together, give back, and take pride in the place we call home,” Hermitage City Hall said in announcing the project.

The city also thanked Hermit Huddle and Bethea for their generosity and for helping beautify Hermitage.
