The Bradley County Medical Center (BCMC) Auxiliary recently marked a historic milestone for local healthcare, raising $2,522 for the hospital through a special quilt giveaway held in celebration of BCMC’s 75th birthday anniversary in June. The beautiful celebration quilt in the giveaway was crafted by the Bradley Block Builders Quilt Club.
On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, Shirley H. Stover, representing the BCMC Auxiliary, presented the proceeds to BCMC CEO/CFO Leslie Huitt. The Auxiliary also announced that Anne Wynne O’Neill was the lucky winner of the custom quilt.
The fundraising total was boosted by a $1,000 anonymous donation. While the generous donor wishes to remain unnamed, they shared a message with the organization, noting that they are a Warren native who has since moved away but still holds their hometown and the mission of BCMC close to their heart. This latest contribution allows the BCMC Auxiliary to continue its long, dedicated history of service. For decades, the Auxiliary has remained a steadfast pillar of support for BCMC, helping the hospital provide high-quality care to the people of Bradley County as it enters its next era of community service.
