Sharon Balentine announces run for Bradley County Quorum Court

Sharon Balentine is announcing her candidacy for position on the Bradley County Quorum Court.

Sharon is a lifelong resident of Bradley County, graduating from WHS in 1979. She attended FWBBC in Nashville, TN in 1979-80. She was crowned Miss Pink Tomato in 1980 and competed at Miss Arkansas. Using her Miss Arkansas scholarship, she attended UAM in the fall of 1980 and married her high-school sweetheart, Monty in 1981. They have 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren. Their son, Dr. Zeb is a professor at Bryon College in Dayton, TN and their daughter, Katie is a realtor now located in Denver, CO.

Sharon is retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 35 years service and is very active in the non-profit group Make Warren Shine. She & Monty attend Grace Cowboy Church. Monty is self-employed at Balentine Farms taking care of cattle and poultry.
