WARREN, Ark. — HopePlace Warren will hold its annual Silent Auction and Banquet on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Warren, with organizers emphasizing that the event is open to the public.
This year’s banquet will carry the theme “The Power of Prayer,” drawing from James 5:16.
The silent auction will begin at 5:45 p.m. and continue until 6:45 p.m., followed by the evening program from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. The event will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church, located at 701 W. Pine St. in Warren.
Although reservations are required and seating is limited, HopePlace Warren said the banquet is not an invitation-only event.
“Everyone is welcome,” organizers said, noting that attendees simply need to make a reservation in advance.
The banquet serves as HopePlace Warren’s largest fundraiser of the year, and the organization says several changes coming to HopePlace Warren will be announced during the evening.
Organizers are also encouraging students to consider volunteering at the event. HopePlace said the banquet will give students an opportunity to demonstrate their work ethic while interacting with local business owners and community leaders who are expected to attend.
Church attire is requested.
